SYNNEX To Carry Zlago Hosted PBX

By Khali Henderson

Cloud service provider Zlago LLC announced at CompTIA Breakaway 2010 in San Antonio, Texas, Wednesday that it will sell its hosted VoIP solution through SYNNEX Corp., a value-added distributor.

SYNNEX already offers Zlagos hosted desktop and virtual services through SYNNEXs VAR network under an agreement signed in January. Together, these products enable the channel to offer small and medium businesses an office in the cloud,” said Zlago CEO Michael Gold.

The Zlago PBX solution is based on Asterisk open-source IP PBX software. It offers traditional PBX functionality as well as advanced features, such as Microsoft Outlook integration, three-way conferencing, voice/fax mail to e-mail and more. Users pay a monthly fee per user and the cost of the IP phones. Unlimited local and long-distance calling is included.

Zlagos service features fully-automated provisioning, so it can be up and running in minutes. It is fully managed, administered, and maintained by Zlagos engineering and support staff, 24/7, along with support from VAR and solution provider partners.

Gold told PHONE+ that Zlago adopted a pure channel distribution model in 2009. It had 20 partners at the end of the year. Since signing with SYNNEX, its roster is now at 150. SYNNEX is Zlagos primary channel, he added.

Gold says the service is sold at a wholesale rate to partners who can mark up the service, bill and offer customer support. Zlago will offer billing services on behalf of partners as well. Rebranding options also are available, he said.

As an incentive, through Sept. 30, Zlago will offer resellers a free cloud voice call conferencing service when they sign up as a Zlago Authorized Partner.

The Zlago Solution Suite also includes Exchange e-mail, collaboration, SaaS business applications, security, backup, storage and more.
