New Jersey-based CLEC Spectrotel has named Ross Artale president and chief operating officer, effective Dec. 1.

Since Rosss arrival six years ago, he has proven to be a visionary leader,” said Jack Dayan, founder and CEO of Spectrotel. Among many accomplishments, he expanded our agent program to be one of the best in the industry. The program has been a major force behind the double-digit growth in sales and has brought about a transformation of Spectrotel from a regional telecom carrier to a nationwide full-service telecommunications provider.”

Artale has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience. He began his career at Mobile Comm, and then later took management positions at two startups: Geotek and Prism Communications. In 2000, he took a job as vice president, customer care, for InfoHighway Communications, where he was part of the management team that grew the company into a $100 million corporation.
