Spectralink Server, Wireless Solutions Qualify for Microsoft Lync

By Daniel Santa Cruz

Spectralink Corp. has become the first company to offer enterprise wireless IP communication solutions that have been qualified for Microsoft Lync 2013.

This qualification applies to the DECT product line, with the Spectralink IP-DECT Server400 and 6500 and handsets, including the 84-Series Wi-Fi handsets. Additionally, Spectralink achieved its status as a Microsoft Gold Communications Partner.

Spectralink says the qualification allows it to extend its sales reach and assure customers and prospects of the quality and compatibility of its solutions.

“The launch of Lync 2013, and the integration opportunities presented by the acquisition of Skype has solidified Microsoft’s status as one of the leading enterprise voice providers worldwide, said Sten Dyrmose, CEO at Spectralink. “Many businesses, both large and small, are looking to Lync as an integral part of their UC roadmap and it’s essential that our products can support that move.”

Businesses using Spectralink’s devices can combine Microsoft Lync with applications and tools customized for specialized work environments such as health care, manufacturing and retail.
