* Teltrust, Inc., (www.teltrust.com)
a provider of wholesale telecommunications services, has been awarded a multi-year contract with California-based G-Five LLC
( www.gfive.com). Under the terms, Teltrust will provide a variety of telecom services including operator services, national directory assistance, payphone refund and repair services and direct-dial services.

The agreement combines the cooperative buying capabilities of G-Five with Teltrust’s live agent and long-distance network services, allowing G-Five to offer single-source provisioning of payphone services to their partners.

These partners include payphone service providers, representing 40,000 payphones, throughout the United States.

* The network unit of Williams Communications
(www.williamcommunication.com)
has signed a 20-year, $200 million agreement with Teleglobe Communications
(www.teleglobe.com) for fibers on 14,000 route miles of Williams’ U.S. fiber optic network as well as ongoing network services.

The fibers will connect Teleglobe to 30 key markets across the United States, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Diego, and Washington, D.C.

In addition, Williams will provide Teleglobe with long-term backhaul services from international cable landing sites on the West Coast to Williams’ backbone network as well as ongoing network maintenance and collocation services.

* ClearWorks.net Inc.
(www.clearworks.net) announced that its subsidiary United Computing Group Inc.
(UCG) has signed marketing agreements with AT&T Corp. (www.att.com)
and Unisys Corporation (www.unisys.com).

UCG will be an AT&T Value-Added Alliance Partner (VAAP) and an IP Services Partner (IPSP). The VAAP partnership allows UCG to procure frame relay, permanent virtual circuit and service corporate WAN services.

UCG also has become a Unisys Global Network Services Partner, which enables it to service customers for outsourced help desk, global PC maintenance, global network design and deployment, outsourced corporate network management and global project management.

* Thrifty Call Inc.
(www.thriftycall.com), a multi regional integrated network service provider, is offering national directory assistance (DA) services and local number portability
(LNP) query services to CLECs and IXCs.

The DA service includes two call centers for reliability and redundancy, high-speed database search capabilities, multilingual capabilities, current database listings including area code changes, splits and overlays, and optional call completion services.

The LNP query service is a single-system interface that integrates LNP into network and business processes using the LSMS from Tekelec Inc.
(www.tekelec.com) as the interface between the Number Portability Administration Center
(NPAC) SMS and the Tekelec Eagle’s Element Management System (EMS).
