Reinvent Telecom, the provider of private-label, cloud-based UC, collaboration and contact center offerings, is starting off the new year with an investment in channel personnel, promoting Ray Napoletano to vice president of sales and hiring David Ansehl, formerly with Toshiba, as senior channel manager.

Napoletano has worked for Reinvent and its parent company, Saddleback Communications, for the past decade, most recently as director of sales and service. During his tenure, he built Reinvent UCaaS and the Reinvent Partner Program. In his new role, he will continue to oversee the partner program, and also invest more time in making improvements to marketing, tools, products, process automation and other key components of the program.

“Ray is known as ‘Mr. Reinvent’ because of his steadfast commitment to helping our reseller partners transform their businesses and stay relevant in a market that’s quickly moving to the cloud,” said Bill Bryant, Saddleback’s president and general manager. “His leadership is the reason Reinvent now delivers a leading cloud communications solution and a top-notch partner program. I am confident that in his new role, he will accelerate Reinvent’s growth throughout the United States.”

The partner program’s growth spurred Napoletano’s promotion, as well as the need for additional channel management with Ansehl being a key addition, Reinvent said. Most recently, Ansehl was part of Toshiba’s telecommunications systems division, where he rose through the ranks from sales engineer to regional manager, and ultimately director for the West before it was acquired by Mitel. In that capacity, he was instrumental in growing the division’s channel and directly responsible for managing over $20 million in revenue from SME, enterprise customers, as well as institutions in the government and education sectors.

“Reinvent’s team has done a terrific job of developing a comprehensive private-label UCaaS solution that provides partners all of the tools needed to build a successful and profitable cloud telephony business,” Ansehl said. “Not only do we provide an inherently cloud-first, feature-rich and redundant UCaaS platform, but also a portal with the back-office tools partners need to be successful, including private-label billing, if desired. We’ll handle all the invoicing, taxes, surcharges and the resources required to comply with Federal Communications Commission regulations. This way, we enable partners to own their customers, without the capital investment in equipment or manpower for back-office systems, or the need to work with additional third parties to execute and support those processes.”
