Open source business application platform company Oro on Wednesday rolled out its new Hosting Partner Program as part of its expanding network of providers.

Initial partners include Rackspace, Webscale Networks, Sonassi, root360 and Oxalide. Oro’s flagship product, OroCommerce, is an eCommerce platform purpose-built for B2B businesses.

Motti Danino, Oro’s chief operating officer, tells Channel Partners his company has a “vibrant and expansive ecosystem” of system-integration partners and technology partners that augment their B2B eCommerce platforms, and the new program represents an “entirely new set of partners to give Oro customers around the world a pre-vetted set of hosting options that can fit their needs.”

“Oro’s philosophy is to allow its customers to deploy anywhere,” he said. “Hosting solutions that meet both industry- and geography-specific needs are extremely important to serve Oro’s customers and fulfill its strategy and philosophy. Oro has been swiftly growing its client roster in the last year, and our international clients prefer hosting options within their own region, for purposes of efficiency, performance and scalability.”

The new hosting program applies to companies using OroCommerce, OroCRM or a fully integrated package incorporating both. Partners will serve the growing number of companies that are deploying the company’s expanding suite of B2B eCommerce and CRM products.

“Since the company was founded in 2012, Oro has built a robust, multinational partner ecosystem to serve its growing roster of B2B merchant clients and to accelerate the global adoption of Oro’s eCommerce and CRM platforms,” Danino said. “The hosting program is just one more piece of the puzzle.”

“B2B eCommerce is one of the fastest growing segments in the market and the combination of OroCommerce plus Webscale’s cloud management expertise provides a compelling solution for all types of organizations,” said Michael Guglielmi, Webscale’s vice president of channel and business development.
