Looking for Love

Have you ever searched online for your ex just to find out what they’ve been up to since you broke up? If so, you’re not alone. According to a nationwide, online survey conducted by PhoneFling, a free mobile and online dating service, 62.4 percent of respondents said they have used the Internet to search for someone they dated in the past. Even the lowest affirmative response, which came from respondents “46 years and older,” still showed that nearly half (47.9 percent) of the people in that age group had surfed online for this purpose.

Hacking for Gold

Gold Lock a provider of military-grade secure mobile communications devices and data encryption tools, recently offered up to $250,000 in gold to anyone that was able to provide a transcript of an encrypted cellular conversation contained in a file on the company’s Web site. However, after four months and more than 5,000 people and companies attempting to hack in, the bounty remained unclaimed.
