iBasis Inc., an Internet-based voice
communications provider, named Jonathan Kaplan vice president of prepaid
solutions. Kaplan will lead the iBasis prepaid team as it works to expand its
prepaid business and develop retail business in the United States and
internationally. Prior to joining iBasis, Kaplan held executive and senior
management positions with long distance carriers and prepaid calling card
distributors including IDT, Horizon Phone Card and LD Exchange, and founded
Telecom Advisors, a prepaid calling card master distributor.

Blackstone Calling Card has named Michael Acton
president. Acton previously served as Blackstones general manager, developing
and managing the companys long-term goals and objectives. As president, Acton
will direct overall company strategy and positioning.

Luis Arias, Blackstones founder and CEO, says Acton has been a
tremendous asset to Blackstone over the past four years. He has successfully
managed the day-to-day operations of the company as we have grown from less than
100 employees to over 250 employees.
