PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS EVOLUTION — SEPTEMBER 9, 2019 — PGi (plexiglass meeting room #1 and a featured sponsor), a business communications provider with a focus on helping people connect, has announced the appointment of Thomas Bouttier as Senior Vice President, Partner Sales, and Frank Paterno as Vice President, Business Development. Both appointments are effective immediately.

In his new role, Bouttier is responsible for driving new business, growing market share and launching new programs to support the entire channel ecosystem – including agents, resellers and carriers. PGi’s master agent, Intelisys, has certified Bouttier a UCaaS Solution Professional.

Bouttier joined PGi nearly 13 years ago and has held a variety of positions, including product management and other solution-focused roles; most recently, he ran PGi’s carrier program. Before joining PGi, he held sales and marketing roles with Chevron and the government Communication Agency Gergovie.

In his new role, Paterno is responsible for aligning the global sales channel sales program to agents, resellers and carriers. Paterno joined PGi four years ago and previously held roles within the global carrier channel. Before joining PGI, he held several sales and marketing roles with Intelliverse.

Earlier this year, PGi announced the expansion of the GlobalMeet platform to include unified communications as a service (UCaaS) features along with expanded smart collaboration capabilities using artificial intelligence (AI) to help users save time and improve productivity through automation.
