PRESS RELEASE — CHANNEL PARTNERS CONFERENCE & EXPO — April 9, 2019 — Observables (Booth E16), creators of the AlwaysON™ Premises Management Services Delivery Platform and IOBOT® Software-Defined Security Devices, has released their all-new POTS Line Alternative solutions at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo.

With the costs of traditional POTS lines escalating or going away altogether, Observables is delivering a fresh alternative for alarm, elevator, gate, fax, modem and traditional analog dial tone support.

The AlwaysON Premises Management Platform is compatible with signals from virtually any source – burglar alarm systems, fire alarm systems, elevator phones, gate entry systems, intercoms and even fax machines. The Observables solutions differ from traditional solutions by adding a “layer of logic” between the service and the cloud. This “layer of logic” includes Artificial Intelligence (AI) learning, advanced networking, central station monitoring and interactive IoT features to deliver robust Business Intelligence while lowering operating costs.

“We’ve listened to our Channel Partners’ growing concerns over the sunset of 3G and landline technology,” stated Abe Schryer, CEO of Observables. “The AlwaysON Platform is an affordable alternative to POTS lines and will help many companies with their digital transformation.”

Here’s our most recent list of new products and services being offered by agents, VARs, MSPs and other channel partners.

To deliver the services, Observables has created the IOBOT, an edge computing platform with dual path communications that delivers signals and data over IP (Internet) or diverse LTE (cellular) carriers such as AT&T and Verizon. Both IP and cellular communication paths are tested regularly to ensure connectivity. Plus, all data is sent using industry advanced encryption standards. The system also has satellite communications options for off-grid or high availability applications and an upgrade path to 5G.
