NetFortris on Tuesday unveiled its first joint UCaaS offer since 2017’s NetFortris-Fonality merger.

The “Comm-unity” platform combines NetFortris’ carrier-class telephony engineering experience with Fonality’s UC development expertise.

The NetFortris-Fonality merger yielded an expanded portfolio of cloud communications, networking, security and software-defined products and services. Ninety-seven percent of NetFortris’ sales are through indirect sales partners.

“The introduction of Comm-unity will provide many new opportunities for our partners,” he said. “Comm-unity is a complete platform that provides all the communication and administration tools that customers need — from the office, home office or on the road. As an example, our launch introduces the brand-new myHUD mobile, a complete UC application for the distributed workforce. Not only can you take communications on the road and maintain a corporate presence, but users can utilize myHUD mobile in the event of any local outages or connectivity disruptions.”

Suitable for Any Size Customer

The new platform is based on microservices and containerization, so it’s “infinitely scalable,” Horgan said.

“There are no limits on the size of the customer partners can serve and they don’t have to worry about customers outgrowing the system,” he said. “It’s also georedundant, so it supports business continuity objectives.”

The Comm-unity platform is housed in data centers connected to NetFortris’ own nationwide network. Using SD-WAN, the company can offer Comm-unity to customers via broadband connectivity to its fiber backbone for end-to-end quality of service.

Comm-unity includes more than 100 phone features plus advanced UC functionality.

“NetFortris will continue to provide partners a competitive advantage in several ways,” Horgan said. “Our Comm-unity platform is fully baked, and provides features and functions customers come to expect. However, Comm-unity is not a one-size-fits-all solution. From administration tools, roles and permissions, custom UC layouts, wallboards, graphical interactive voice response (IVR), device line provisioning, customizable reporting and more, NetFortris allows customers to control their Comm-unity.”

NetFortris also offers business customers onboarding, installation and ongoing support through customer advocates and 24/7 in-house customer support.

“NetFortris is our go-to partner for UCaaS and CCaaS,” said Bill Stayart, western region business development manager for Kyocera Document Solutions America. “Combine these with circuits and SD-WAN, and we supply a complete communication package with technology, software and know-how.”
