net2phone Unveils Integration with Microsoft Teams

About 20 million people use Microsoft Teams weekly.

Microsoft Teams users now can access the advanced capabilities of net2phone‘s communication services while directly inside the Teams environment.

The net2phone integrated solution leverages the cloud to embed its voice applications into Teams. The installation and integration processes are automated and fully managed.

George Longyear, net2phone’s vice president of channel sales, tells Channel Partners his company’s partners can now target Teams users and offer them the advanced features of his company’s cloud-based solution. About 20 million people use Teams weekly.

“This opens up a new pool of potential customers for our partners,” he said. “Microsoft Teams users can integrate with net2phone and receive a more stable calling environment, unlimited international calling, plus all the features that come with a UCaaS solution.”

Once on board, the Microsoft Teams Direct Routing + net2phone Cloud PBX package provides unlimited global calling to more than 40 destination countries, live chat, call recording, webRTC, mobile apps and additional communications capabilities including advanced management analytics.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top hosted PBX providers offering products and services via channel partners.

“net2phone’s offer to Microsoft Teams customers is unique as the enterprise who wants to take advantage of net2phone’s communication service in Teams does not need to put up any infrastructure to support the service,” Longyear said. “The onboarding is a one-click automation without any need for tedious power shell configuration. Secondly, the net2phone experience utilized inside Teams can be used internationally with portable, international phone numbers and calling plans.”

net2phone’s solution enables customers to conduct their business remotely just as they would in the office. The same business phone number can be used across multiple devices – including desk phones, mobile phones and a desktop softphone – to enable business as usual, from anywhere.

“Preparations for a potential Covid-19 pandemic are accelerating the need for remote work environments and reinforcing the use case for common platform collaborative services like Microsoft Teams,” said Jonah Fink, net2phone’s president. “Businesses evolving their digital work environment can marry Microsoft Teams with net2phone’s cloud PBX application to support remote employees with features including net2phone’s unlimited global calling from within the Microsoft Teams environment.”
