M5 Networks Upgrades Its Salesforce.com Integration

Business phone systems provider M5 Networks this week released the latest version of its sales productivity software, M5 Connect for Salesforce.com. Partners use the platform as a value-added service to offer to customers.

The upgrade, version 4.0, supports Google’s Chrome browser as well as the new editions of Internet Explorer and Mozilla’s Firefox. It works with M5’s VoIP phone systems, unified communications and other cloud products. For example, M5 Connect for Salesforce.com increases productivity with the following features:

  • Click-to-dial so users may start a call from within Salesforce.com any time a phone number is available

  • Inbound screen pops that display lead or contact information before the call is answered

  • Automatic note-taking that prompts users for call notes and wrap-up codes each time the phone is dialed

  • Real-time analytics that help managers evaluate agents and campaigns.

Even in this digital age, the telephone system is still the primary tool for bringing sellers and buyers together,” said Brent Barbara, vice president of innovation and integration for M5 Networks. “Our Salesforce.com integration maximizes the value of each call … Expanded browser support is just part of this effort.”
