Nextiva Updates NextOS, Unifies All Communication, Collaboration Tools

Nextiva promises to deliver communication apps with business software, along with AI and workflow automation.

The latest Nextiva NextOS platform made its debut Wednesday, giving partners a connected communication platform for their portfolios.

With the newest version of NextOS, Nextiva will deliver communication applications with business software, along with artificial intelligence and workflow automations. The platform includes phone, email, chat and texting. It brings all communications into one place, and eliminates multiple and fragmented applications.

NextOS brings enterprise-grade performance to businesses of all sizes.

“Nextiva creates new opportunities for partners by transforming the ways they deliver value to their customers,” he said. “NextOS enables Nextiva partners to meet customers’ needs for a robust communications solution that includes voice, video and collaboration. As customers use NextOS, they’re introduced to capabilities and products that could be adding value to their own customer experiences like sales and productivity tools, customer journey intelligence and workflow automation. At the same time, they gain more insight into their customers and their operations. This creates a sticky experience for customers and additional product sales opportunities for partners.”

Partners Can Escape the ‘UCaaS Race to Zero’

The latest Nextiva NextOS combines Nextiva’s UCaaS, collaboration and sales/service management onto one cloud platform. By enhancing Nextiva’s UCaaS platform with SaaS functionality, NextOS allows partners to “escape the UCaaS race to zero.” They can return to selling a higher-value solution to their customers.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top UCaaS providers offering products and services via channel partners.

Nextiva says it’s the only company bringing voice to a communications platform and combining it with business applications, intelligence and automation. It’s also the only company unifying business communications and internal communications in one platform.

Nextiva is introducing self sign-up and self configuration for the first time in the company’s history.

The company is rolling out four new NextOS packages. They include essential, professional, enterprise and ultimate. Each package builds upon the latter to give all businesses the tools they need.

“Nextiva’s packages fundamentally offer more value than those from other providers,” Martorano said. “The four packages are designed to meet customers’ current set of needs, but remain open to add services and scale in the future, which benefits both the customer and the partner. The essential package provides just that — essential cloud communication features at our lowest price, while ultimate includes all of the bells and whistles including insight into the customer journey and workflow automations that make businesses more consistent and efficient.”

In August, Nextiva rolled out a new partner program, NeXus, along with new channel leaders from Microsoft, Dropbox and Google. NeXus includes access to gamified training and certifications, demand generation tools, enhanced marketing capabilities and MDF. It also offers reviews of upcoming product enhancements, promotions and SPIFFs, and more to help partners across distinct business tiers.
