Jabra, which develops, manufactures and markets wireless and corded headsets for mobile phone users, contact centers and office-based users, has launched its new Jabra One Partner Program and appointed Cheryle Walline as head of channels, public sector and SME in North America.

The program, which will roll out globally this year, establishes two partner levels — authorized and premium. Premium partners benefit from expanded support, customized agreements, dedicated account management and business investment funding as appropriate to grow their business.

Walline tells Channel Partners the program is a global initiative implemented to drive consistency across all regions.

“Our partners are an important part of our business,” she said. “In speaking and listening to them, we uncovered the need for a partner program that was more commercially driven and better connected to driving both channel management and marketing. The new program is designed to provide increasing benefits to our partner community as they continue their loyalty to Jabra.”

Through the program, all partners have access to Jabra One Zone, a new online portal that features a variety of sales and marketing resources aimed at helping partners increase profitability and move into new markets. The platform includes collateral from co-marketing and marketing toolboxes, sales tools designed for existing and new customer acquisition, and an online education program to enhance solution selling skills.

“In the past, our partners had access to a multitude of resources, but they were in different locations,” Walline said. “The Jabra One Zone creates a simplified experience that provides them with all the tools they need in one place — not solely marketing resources but also resources to educate their customers on key issues like improving end-user adoption. Our partners can now access training, sales and marketing collateral, and our awards program to name a few.

Walline brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and channel leadership to her new role. Her previous title was senior director, public sector and SMB.

“We’ve put a lot of assessment, design and research efforts into this program, with the result being an enhanced partner program that adapts to the changing landscape of our alliance partners and our customer’s needs,” Walline said. “One of my top priorities over the next year is to drive the rollout of the new Jabra One Partner Program. Strengthening our existing relationships, and developing new ones are extremely important to me in my first six months.”

Jabra One Partner Program authorization is available to all partners for online and/or offline sales of B2B and B2C products.

“Under Cheryle’s partner-centric leadership our public-sector business saw double-digit growth in less than a year,” said Paul Hamnett, president of Jabra North America. “Her collaborative approach combined with the new Jabra One Partner Program will be invaluable in helping our channel partners reach their full potential. We look forward to seeing the channel program thrive and our partners take advantage of new opportunities for profitable growth.”
