Google is joining the Intelisys supplier portfolio to offer partners opportunities in the contact center market with its Chromebook Enterprise ecosystem.

Hybrid technology distributor Intelisys signed an agreement with Google that gives Intelisys sales partners the ability to sell Chrome OS to customers. Intelisys is one of Google Chrome OS’ exclusive distributors.

Partners can sell a variety of software and hardware from other vendors that are optimized for the Chrome operating system.

“We’re leveraging our unique position as the industry’s only hybrid technology distributor by proactively offering unprecedented access to hardware, software, connectivity and cloud services solutions so our sales partners can offer their customers complete solutions,” said  Paul Constantine, executive vice president of supplier services. “We believe that Google’s Chromebook Enterprise offerings will enable our sales partners to deploy and manage their customers’ devices securely while increasing employee productivity.”

Google unveiled its integrated solutions for Chrome OS last fall.

CCaaS Vendors

Google has validated a select number of CCaaS vendors for Chrome OS. Chrome OS’ recommend vendors include 8×8, Dialpad, Edify, Five9, Genesys, Nice CXOne, RingCentral, UJET, Vonage and Cisco WebEx.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top CCaaS providers offering products and services via channel partners.

The ecosystem also includes Chrome OS devices from Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung, and Chromebook accessories from eight different vendors. Google is offering opportunities for “significant SPIFFs” for partners that sell Chrome Enterprise devices alongside CCaaS.

In addition, Intelisys agents can leverage customer leads from the Chrome OS direct sales team.

Intelisys earlier this week unveiled its technology orchestration partner program. The program offers resources and support options designed to help partners “pursue complex opportunities that require specialization and expertise and speed up the purchasing and implementation cycle.”

Intelisys increased its net sales by 14% year-over-year, according to parent company ScanSource’s latest quarterly earnings. Intelisys earned $17.4 million in net sales for the last quarter.
