Integrated BroadBand Services (IBBS) and PointOne today announced an agreement to jointly develop voice products and services for the North American cable industry.

Atlanta-based IBBS provides OSS, NOC and call center services for cable operators. The agreement calls for the two companies to target cable operators wanting to offer triple-play services by combining IBBS software systems with PointOnes nationwide StarPoint IP voice network. “PointOne’s VoIP network will allow IBBS customers to provide their subscribers with superior voice quality and the reliability of traditional phone systems,” says Michael Ingram, CTO at IBBS.
