GlobalTouch Implements InfoDirections CostGuard.NET

InfoDirections Inc. (Booth 731) reports GlobalTouch Telecom has implemented its CostGuard.NET technology to manage OSS/BSS functions for Globaltouchs growing customer base.

Info Directions develops net-centric billing, rating, order management, workflow and selling solutions for the telecommunications industry.

GlobalTouch is a facilities-based carrier offering international and domestic calling programs in the United States and Canada. The programs are sold directly and through a network of independent sales representatives to customers and business enterprises. The company serves subscribers calling international markets such as Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America and provides sales, service and billing in multiple languages.

"We’re pleased to be working with GlobalTouch Telecom to deliver quality products and service to its end users," says Donald Culeton, president of Info Directions. "The use of CostGuard.NET is another example of GlobalTouch Telecom’s desire to continuously add value as a service provider."

GlobalTouch officials say they selected Info Directions because CostGuard.NET gave the company a foundation of open architecture to respond rapidly to changing market conditions. In addition, CostGuard.NET’s workflow management capabilities helped GlobalTouch Telecom automate repetitive processes and gain additional efficiencies in its back-office operations.
