VoIP services provider GLOBALINX on Thursday released the GSP-10, its new high-definition video softphone.

The software works on both Windows and Mac operating systems. It allows users to make and receive voice calls with their computer, and to make and receive video calls to and from other GLOBALINX VideoPhone customers.

The GSP-10 allows customers to expand into the video calling and VoIP arena without having to purchase any expensive equipment,” said Michael Machonkin, vice president of sales and marketing for GLOBALINX. A customer can use the laptop or desktop they already own.”

The GSP-10 which stands for GLOBALINX Softphone Portable has features that GLOBALINX says distinguishes it from Skype and other softphones: HD video; voice mail; four-way conference calling; audio call recording; E-911 calling; unlimited calling to the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands; and live customer and technical support. None of the features costs extra.

The GSP-10 is available to GLOBALINX VideoPhone customers with active accounts.
