Fuze, the UCaaS provider, has appointed Timothy Puccio, previously with Carbonite, as its vice president of global channels and alliances.

In this role, Puccio will lead the channel sales strategy in partnership with Chris Doggett, chief sales officer. Puccio previously served as vice president of global alliances, MSPs and channel sales at Carbonite, where he was responsible for achieving the company’s channel and MSP revenue goals, and for the expansion of global partnerships and alliances.

Puccio tells Channel Partners this role is a “tremendous opportunity to lead Fuze in its next phase of growth via its channel partners and alliances.” He has more than 20 years of sales experience in the software and enterprise technology industry, including sales leadership roles at HP Software and as vice president of sales at Intact Technology.

“The proven success in the enterprise along with Fuze‘s ability to service the commercial markets creates a significant addressable market need,” he said. “Fuze already has a strong channel foundation and strategy. To elevate our program even further, we have an opportunity to scale our partner ecosystem.”

While Fuze’s existing channel ecosystem is “already robust, we are working to identify ways for our team to expand our channel and reseller program,” Puccio said.

“It’s also important that we continue to focus on not only developing new relationships, but on growing our existing partnerships,” he said. “We remain committed to continuing to make it easier for our partners to succeed in the market with a solid solution and value for our joint customers.”

Fuze has seen “tremendous success” with its referral partner model, Puccio said.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in April.

“Our next phase of growth and expansion will be heavily dependent on our existing and future channel relationships,” he said.

“Our global channel program is a vital part of Fuze’s growth strategy,” Doggett said. “Tim will drive the continued expansion of the program and oversee the substantial investments we are making, building momentum and generating sales across our partner community. With deep software expertise and years of enterprise channel and sales experience, Tim is the ideal leader for developing our channel partnerships and alliances, while scaling our team to align with Fuze’s overall growth.”
