Technology distributor Westcon-Comstor’s portfolio now include services from Five9.

Five9's Wendell BlackA new agreement allows Westcon-Comstor to distribute Five9 services globally. As of today, Five9 is the only cloud-based contact center technology vendor available through Westcon-Comstor.

Wendell Black, Five9’s vice president of channels, tells Channel Partners that Westcon-Comstor has identified a large number of its client partners that are interested in communications infrastructure such as Five9 Virtual Contact Center — as their end users look to the cloud to fulfill these business needs. Westcon specifically will be targeting clients with contact-center practices that want to add a cloud service.

“This relationship makes it easier for Five9 to distribute our products to end users by the fact that Westcon already has sales agreements with thousands of resellers,” he said. “Five9 entered into a single agreement with Westcon, which puts our products on their price list and available to their reseller clients for sale to end users throughout the Westcon network in 150 countries. This is a significant simplification in the go- to-market distribution of cloud contact center as a service that Five9 has developed for the customer-service market.”{ad}

The distributor will offer the full range of services from Five9, which complements and enhances the existing products currently offered through the Westcon-Comstor UC and Collaboration Solutions Practice, Five9 said.

“Westcon-Comstor is uniquely qualified to deliver and integrate complex UC, network infrastructure, data center and security solutions,” said Barat Dickman, vice president and general manager of the Westcon-Comstor UC and Collaboration Solutions Practice. “As a value-added distributor, we are focused on creating the programs and support that accelerate the business of our partners and we are pleased Five9 has become one of those partners. Our UC practice, supported by technologies like the Five9 cloud-based contact center solution, helps enable our resellers to receive the most business value possible.”

Five9 has established a reseller program focused on VARs, brokers, agents, dealers and distributors servicing small and large enterprises. The program helps service providers to accelerate time-to-market with a cloud contact center service versus a traditional on-premises solution. It also allows interoperability and integration to existing UC systems and third-party applications, enabling service providers to extend the value of their offerings, the company said.
