New Jersey-based Cory Communications has opened a new office in California and hired a familiar face in the telecom world to oversee its expansion in the western United States.

The master agency recently took root on the West Coast, in Malibu, Calif. In addition, the company has hired Howard Eigenberg as director of sales, Western division. Eigenberg brings more than 17 years of experience in the telecom industry to the job; he has worked for providers including Qwest, Comcast, Time Warner, and, most recently, XO Communications. Thanks to those roles, Eigenberg has gotten to know Jack Zoblin, president of Cory Communications.

We are excited about having such a respected knowledgeable industry leader join the Cory team,” Zoblin said in a press release. “His extensive knowledge of complex data applications and cable broadband services will contribute additional depth and enhance the marketability of Corys products and services throughout the United States.”
