ComputerLand Joins AltiGen's Reseller Network

AltiGen Communications Inc. (ATGN), a provider of Microsoft-based VoIP and unified communications solutions, announced Thursday the addition of ComputerLand of Silicon Valley to its reseller network.

Founded in 1991, ComputerLand provides technology solutions and services for business, government and educational clients across the United States. It has expertise in IT infrastructure and applications, storage, network security and voice communications.

“As a long time AltiGen customer, we have experienced the value in deploying a 100 percent Microsoft-based voice platform throughout our organization,” said Cathy Souza, ComputerLand’s vice president of business development. “We are excited about the opportunity to bring AltiGen’s innovative VoIP and Unified Communications solutions to customers in the Bay Area and also throughout the country.”

Souza adds that AltiGen’s seamless integration with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Office Communications Server allows the company to design and deliver “comprehensive, yet cost effective, solutions for our clients which are deploying Microsoft infrastructure technologies.”

AltiGen vice president of sales Mike Plumer said ComputerLand, which has offices in both San Jose and San Francisco, boosts AltiGen’s channel presence in Silicon Valley.

AltiGen’s worldwide headquarters is in Silicon Valley, with international operations based in Shanghai. Local sales, service and support are provided by AltiGen’s worldwide network of more than 300 certified partners.
