Value-added reseller Carousel Industries has hired Richard Losey to fill the newly created role of senior vice president of services.

Losey comes to the Rhode Island-based technology integrator from SAIC, where he worked for 16 years. His most recent position was as vice president of service delivery.

Carousel is beefing up its services delivery organization as the company sees record growth, particularly thanks to its expansion into managed services, and hosted and cloud applications. Carousel supports more than 5,000 reseller customers.

"Rick will help us streamline our processes and procedures to make it even easier for our customers to get the high level of service they have come to expect from Carousel," said Carousel CEO Jeff Gardner.

Losey will oversee all aspects of Carousel’s customer support, maintenance, managed services and installation. He reports directly to Gardner.

Carousel specializes in unified communications, virtualization, VoIP, video conferencing and collaboration, and data infrastructure.
