Cloud communications provider CallTower just expanded its portfolio through a partnership with Cisco.

CallTower unveiled Cisco Webex Calling and UCM solutions. The WebEx calling solution caters to companies with fewer than 1,000 seats. It harnesses Cisco’s control hub for management and works with Cisco 6800s, 7800s, and 8800s multiplatform phones. Customers can also utilize PSTN traffic, API integration and analytics through CallTower.

The UCM (unified communications manager) solution caters to larger customers. CallTower has already been hosting Cisco CallManager for more than 10 years. It has built an API integration that will allow customers to migrate to UCM.

CallTower chief revenue officer William Rubio said it made sense for the company to offer its customers a Cisco calling solution. The company has already seen a strong uptick in its Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and Cisco hosted collaboration solutions.

“Our powerful global voice network, the legacy prowess of the Cisco system and the user experience of Webex is a next level combination for any organization using the unified communication space,” Rubio said. “Leverage that with our second-to-none support organization, and you will ensure your Cisco solution is up and running perfectly.”

The company touted its CallTower Connect online self-provisioning portal, which gives customers administrative options for both solutions.

“CallTower Connect is the glue that holds together the one-stop-shop catalog of CallTower solutions,” said Doug Larsen, CallTower’s senior director of software and product. “Connect allows our customers to easily personalize and control their CallTower solutions and greatly reduce IT administrative workload overall.”

Earlier this summer CallTower announced Direct Microsoft Teams Routing for Department of Defense contractors.
