Cablevision Rolls Out SIP Trunking to Channel

After using the service in-house for more than a year, Cablevision Systems Corp. (CVC) announced Thursday the general availability of SIP Trunking from Optimum Business.

The SIP trunking service is certified for the Cisco SPA9000 Voice System and Microsoft Response Point, and the combinations will be available through Optimum Business third-party resellers as well as select Cisco and Microsoft resellers.

Optimum Business SIP Trunking includes 40 DIDs and 12 simultaneous inbound/outbound call sessions for less than $400 per month. Specifically, each simultaneous inbound/outbound call session is priced at $29.95 per month, and business customers can select to purchase anywhere from four to 12 sessions. Each trunk includes 10 DIDs. Additional DIDs are sold in blocks of 10 for $9.95 per block, per month, up to 40 total. The flat-rate calling area includes the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
