Broadwing Communications LLC COO John McLeod has resigned effective Nov. 6, 2005.

“Broadwing’s network and operations functions are in a very strong position, a fact that was never more evident to me than when I witnessed the flawless performance of Broadwing’s employees and network during and after the recent devastating hurricanes,” McLeod said in a news release. “The company is now well-positioned as the service provider of choice to enterprises and carriers, and therefore I have decided that it is the appropriate time for me to pursue new professional challenges.”

McLeod joined Broadwing in 2003.

Broadwing Communications is a consolidated subsidiary of Broadwing Corp.
