Broadvoice has hired Khoi Nguyen, previously with Google, OpenX and Rubicon Project, as its head of product, charged with driving innovation to support the company’s growth.

As head of product, Nguyen will leverage his experience in software product management to oversee the company’s b-hive platform, as well as collaborate with other project managers to grow products and processes companywide.

Nguyen’s previous roles include Rubicon Project‘s vice president of product for video, mobile, connected TV, audio and IoT/digital out of home (DOOH), and OpenX’s senior director of product management for strategic new markets. He also held product management roles with Google and Symantec.

“Broadvoice has a tremendous opportunity in the communications and collaboration market,” he said. “I’m proud to be a part of a team with such passion and drive for innovation and feel that my extensive background in software product management can provide a strong positive contribution to the company.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in April.

Broadvoice offers a portfolio of IP-based voice and data offerings, backed by its enterprise-class, geo-redundant IP telephony platform. This includes its flagship cloud UC and PBX services, which features voice calling plans throughout the continental United States and Canada.

Last month, Broadvoice promoted Marisa Freeden, formerly its director of brand and channel marketing, to vice president of brand and experience.

“I’m thrilled to introduce and welcome Khoi Nguyen to the team,” said George Mitsopoulos, Broadvoice’s chief operating officer. “He is an impressive product leader whose knowledge and experience will provide incredible value as we continue to grow.”
