Internap Network Services Corp. this week said it has hired Joseph Stagliano as its new vice president of global channel sales.

Stagliano comes to the hosting and colo provider from Broadview Networks, where he had worked as director of channel sales since June 2007. Stagliano is the second Broadview channel staffer to leave the company this month. Shawn Coyle, who was managing director of nationwide channel sales at Broadview, just took a job as vice president of business development at wholesale carrier ANPI.

Prior to Broadview, Stagliano was director of agent sales at InfoHighway Communications, the competitive provider Broadview purchased in early 2007.

At Internap, Stagliano will work to expand the company’s partner program. Stephen Callahan, senior vice president of global sales for Internap, wrote in a Dec. 4 blog post that Stagliano brings with him “more than 12 years of experience in channel development and management … as well as relationships with most of the major agents.”
