BandTel and TalkSwitch said Tuesday their SIP architecture and telephone systems are fully interoperable.

The partnership is designed to help small businesses with their phone systems, the companies said. Customers can choose a VoIP calling plan from BandTel and connect it through a TalkSwitch system, which will provide call handling and routing.

TalkSwitch phone systems include auto attendants, call cascade options, voice mail and remote extension capabilities. BandTels plans include flat-rate and minute-usage agreements.

TalkSwitch systems are available from its network of resellers or can be purchased directly at www.talkswitch.com. BandTel services are available through select TalkSwitch resellers who provide turnkey support for the integration of the TalkSwitch system with BandTel services.
