Avant Communications Inc. has become the newest member and shareholder of the Agent Alliance.

The Alliance, founded in 1997, is a corporation owned by its member agencies throughout the country; these companies get access to various contracts covering data, conferencing, Internet, cloud, voice and other services.

Avant specializes in next-generation technologies, including complex cloud design and global WAN deployments, and that’s the type of business model that meshes well with the Alliance’s goals.

"We’ve had a specific focus on adding highly sophisticated companies to our membership," said Bill Power, Agent Alliance CEO. "Avant is one of the premier operations in the industry and their team’s IT and cloud experience along with their production capabilities will be a valuable asset to the consortium."

The Agent Alliance will convene its quarterly board of directors meeting next week in Denver; the event will mark Avant’s first time participating as an active shareholder. The meeting also will be a first for The Cloud Taskforce and Fostar Telecommunications, two other members who joined the Alliance earlier this year.
