AT&T, Blue Jeans Team on Video Conferencing

By Claire Cleveland

AT&T business customers now will have access to on-demand video collaboration services from Blue Jeans Network that will allow video-conference access from almost any desktop, mobile device or conference room equipped for video.

AT&T expects the cloud-based video conferencing from Blue Jeans to further enhance its portfolio of market solutions and should make it easier for businesses to meet virtually anytime.

A recent survey by Instant.ly revealed that for 95 percent of business professionals, video collaboration improves business relationships. Seventy-three percent said they prefer to discuss sensitive HR issues using video instead of audio alone, and 80 percent would rather speak with a customer using video.

“Despite all the advances in modern technology, the most powerful tool for business still remains the human face,” said Krish Ramakrishnan, CEO, Blue Jeans Network. “Blue Jeans and AT&T share a goal of helping business customers collaborate face to face even when distance gets in the way.”

Blue Jeans Network sells through channel partners.
