Arkadin on Tuesday debuted its Microsoft Lync hosted service, Total Connect.

The platform is available now – through channel partners, too – in North America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Other countries will be added later this year.

Arkadin said Total Connect provides a fully integrated UC ecosystem with Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint. Services including instant messaging, presence, phone calls, audio/web/video conferencing, shared workspaces and email work with Arkadin’s hosted telephony.

The Microsoft integration was made possible by Arkadin’s purchase of implement.com earlier this year. Total Connect is offered in a shared cloud environment, which tends to be more affordable for small to mid-sized organizations. A private cloud model also is available for large businesses that require services such as consulting, customization, enhanced security and more.
