AppSmart just added a new supplier to its line card.

AppSmart’s technology adviser partners can now sell Ooma‘s communications products and services. Ooma provides a cloud-based phone service and a UCaaS platform. It also provides direct routing for Microsoft Teams and a Wi-Fi offering.

In addition, Ooma will offer AppSmart sales partners training and support.

“The breadth of communications solutions that Ooma offers, combined with a shared commitment to flexible pricing and delivery, make Ooma an ideal fit for AppSmart and our technology advisers,” said Matt Harty, AppSmart’s general manager of communication services. “Whether a business is looking for basic phone service, a full unified communications stack or advanced services such as SIP trunking and managed Wi-Fi, Ooma can deliver, while also providing personalized support for agents and end customers.”

On the other hand, Ooma is increasing its sales footprint through the agreement. AppSmart lists its number of agents as exceeding 5,000.

“AppSmart, as the name implies, is one of the smartest ways for businesses to connect to the technology they need to thrive,” said David Beagle, senior director of business channel sales at Ooma. “We’re honored that AppSmart has chosen to partner with Ooma, and we look forward to sharing the Ooma story with AppSmart’s many technology advisers.”

Ooma also partners with TCG and Technology Source. It gained those partners by acquiring Broadsmart in 2019.

AppSmart executives have been preaching technological convergence in 2021. They’re encouraging partners to move beyond traditional connectivity sales and cross-sell energy, SaaS and mobility.

The B2B technology marketplace has also expanded its Invest program this year. NXTYS recently took funding from AppSmart and entered an exclusive distribution relationship with the company.
