AireSpring, the managed services provider of cloud communications and managed connectivity solutions, has promoted Shane Speakman to the newly expanded role of vice president of channel sales and operations.

In his new role, Speakman will manage a team of channel managers to develop key regions while focusing on channel sales growth. His previous title was vice president of channel operations and strategy.

“While I love the challenge of developing and executing channel strategies, I am excited about this expanded opportunity to both engage more deeply with my team of channel managers and build upon the wealth of strong relationships that I have with channel partners,“ he said. “Since early in my career I have always known that success in the channel depends not only on excellent products and services, but also on great relationships.”

Speakman joined the AireSpring executive team nearly two years ago, and during that time he has helped AireSpring build a stronger channel program, with increased presence in more markets across the United States. Throughout his career, he has built a “reputation for success, working with master agents, VARs and MSPs,” according to AireSpring.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in June.

“We are very pleased that Shane has accepted this newly expanded management role on AireSpring’s channel sales team,” said Ron McNab, AireSpring’s senior vice president of channel sales. “We have come to rely on his leadership skills and deep commitment to getting results for AireSpring and for our partners. Shane is a true evangelist of our 100% channel strategy, for our excellent products and services, and for the superior industry standards we strive to uphold. We look forward to working with him for continued growth in markets across North America.”

Speakman came to AireSpring from Zayo Group, where he led the channel management team and served as national director of business development. He also held executive roles at Dynamic Network Advisors, XO Communications and Domo.
