Komon has been appointed regional channel manager for the Midwest, charged with focusing on the expanding business infrastructure of the Chicago area and greater Midwest region. Gunn joins AireSpring as regional channel manager for the Southwest, where he is well known in Dallas/Fort Worth.

“Rick and Blake each bring a special understanding of the total channel process to AireSpring, having built strong records in both the partner and sales agent roles,” said Shane Speakman, AireSpring’s vice president of channel sales and operations. “They are 100% committed to serving the channel with their expert understanding of quality of service (QoS) and the high-touch customer experience model behind AireSpring’s stable, family-owned operation. Their robust technical knowledge of cloud PBX communications, UCaaS, CCaaS, SaaS, SD- WAN and MPLS solutions, and all of the AireSpring product line will be an asset to AireSpring and our channel partners.”

Komon brings nearly 20 years in telecom to the AireSpring team, most recently serving as Netrix’s channel sales manager. His experience in solutions engineering includes a prior role as sales engineer for channels at Birch Communications, now Fusion Connect. He will enlist new AireSpring channel partners, develop existing partners and consult with them on the right solution for their clients.

Gunn draws on 16 years in telecom, building relationships with master agencies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, south Texas and surrounding states to further develop partner ties in the Southwest. He most recently served as vice president for Boyd Connected Services (BCS). Prior to BCS, he spent 11 years with AT&T in regional sales and technical sales manager positions, working with fiber, Ethernet and enterprise IP services.

AireSpring’s services include SD-WAN, AirePBX UCaaS, AireContact Cloud Contact Center, SIP Trunking, MPLS, disaster recovery, managed security and business internet.
