AireSpring, the cloud communications and managed connectivity provider, has chosen Grace Chu to join its customer operations team in the newly created position of UCaaS design manager.

This specialized position supports the onboarding and implementation of programs for new UCaaS customers. Chu’s efforts will complement the work of UCaaS program technicians through additional customer support and project-design services.

Chu started in the telecom industry at Pacific Bell in the late 1990s. She went on to spend more than 10 years as project manager at hosted VoIP provider Telekenex, which NetFortris eventually bought. She joined AireSpring last September.

“Grace has always kept pace with emerging telecom technologies,” said Ralph Romero, AireSpring’s vice president of customer operations. “She brings with her deep experience in telecom project management and a reputation for exceeding customer expectations, which makes her a perfect fit for our team.”

In December, AireSpring unveiled its new Cloud Hosted Key System, designed to serve the needs of small business or branch offices that prefer the familiarity of a traditional key system to a PBX.
