Through the companies’ combined technologies in its Cloud solution portfolio, Accelerite will offer enterprises and service providers the freedom to choose and deploy any combination of hypervisors and cloud platforms. 

With today’s proliferation of cloud offerings, market research firm IDC found 67 percent of enterprises expect to utilize two or more major cloud service providers this year. The challenge comes in managing and weaving together these heterogeneous environments as problems can arise in the management, configuration, orchestration, and optimization of the data center and cloud infrastructure. The development of an innovative technology solution to address this growing customer pain point served as the catalyst for Accelerite’s acquisition of Convirture.

Accelerite’s Cloud solution offering will bring an end-to-end solution to customers looking to streamline management of multi-hypervisor and multi-cloud environments, via a single pane of glass. The solution will enable IT to centrally administer, automate, manage, protect, and orchestrate data workloads and compute infrastructure across multiple virtualization and cloud environments including VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Xen, Amazon Web Services, and OpenStack.
