Zenith Infotech Senior VP Finance Resigned, Exited In Aug: Report

Zenith Infotech's Senior VP of Finance (who also served as secretary and compliance officer) resigned from the company and exited on Aug. 31. A replacement has been named, effective Sept. 1, according to news reports out of India. The update comes as Zenith Infotech, a private cloud computing company that works with MSPs, continues to navigate a one-year-old bond payment default.

According to a news report out of India, Zenith Infotech informed the Bombay Stock Exchange:

  1. Mr. Kalyanasundaram Vaidyanathan has resigned as Senior Vice President (Finance) & Company Secretary and Compliance Officer and was relieved from the services of the Company on August 31, 2012; and
  2. Mr. Vinjamuri Govindaraja Chari has been appointed as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the Company with effect from September 01, 2012.
Zenith Infotech default on a bond payment in 2011, triggering concern among some MSPs that leverage the company's cloud and storage platforms. More recently, though, the company seems to have stabilized its installed base while also winning new business with a TigerCloud and BDR-G12 platform.

I've reached out to Zenith Infotech for potential comment about Vaidyanathan's departure. If we receipt updates I'll update this blog accordingly.
