Zetta.net MSP Mizon Winning Massive Client Migrations to Cloud BDR
Zetta.net says that its managed services provider (MSP) partner Mizon‘s implementation of the vendor’s cloud server backup and disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) has achieved a huge migration rate. Customers are switching to reduce costs, risks and impact, the company said.
Zetta.net reports that all the Mizon customers that were looking for less costly alternatives are migrating to Zetta.net. Mizon said it selected Zetta because it provides a cost effective alternative to other backup and recovery solutions. Mizon, founded in 2000, provides networking services to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the southeastern United States.
Mezon President Mark Wertz said that the company has seen big success with its customer migration sales.
“We just talk to customers who are searching for a better backup solution, and we’re seeing 100 percent of them migrating to Zetta,” he said. “We’ve reduced the amount of back-end support time needed by Mizon staff to keep the backups going – time which isn’t always billable to clients.”
Zetta.net designed its DRaaS platform, DataProtect 4.0, for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), remote/branch offices and MSPs, offering a multi-tenant management console that gives partners view of client backup environments. No on-site hardware or customer visits are required.
Zetta released Zetta.net DataProtect 4.0 in June 2013.
