TMaaS Provider vCom Solutions Announces Enhanced Mobility Solution

vCom Solutions is making it easier for its managed telecom management services users to view their expenses with new features and program enhancements for its Mobile Expense Management (MEM) solution.

The new vCom Mobility Lifecycle Management (MLM) solution utilizes the company’s development experience to improve current customer use of vCom’s MEM by ultimately simplifying complex spending through a cloud-based software platform, according to vCom.

Among the additions to its MLM, vCom said customers will be able to allocate charges more efficiently and generate more savings than the typical carrier optimizations for true equipment cost and cost allocation. MLM also will include portal access for end users and administrators and automated optimization services to eliminate the need for manual audits. The system will feature near real-time carrier integration and give users plan recommendations based on their phone selection and data, voice and text pool utilization.

While designed to be comprehensive, vCom said the MLM’s flexible module selection will help users adapt the solution based on their own individual enterprise needs.

"We're constantly looking for ways to innovate and deliver better telecom management to our customers, and feedback from our most recent customer survey indicated that mobility management is a top priority for them,” said Gary Storm, CEO and founder in a prepared statement. “We've taken this feedback and made it a key initiative for 2014 to improve our mobility management solution. This is a significant investment for vCom Solutions, both in terms of technology and people: in addition to developing a robust software solution, we're expanding our professional services team to support our customers."
