RackWare today announced the RackWare Management Module for Amazon Web Services at re:Invent 2014 in Las Vegas.

RackWare today unveiled the RackWare Management Module for Amazon Web Services (AWS), a disaster recovery (DR) and migration solution for AWS, at re:Invent 2014 in Las Vegas.

Managed service providers (MSPs) will be able to offer RackWare Management Module for AWS to help customers recover from events that bring an application down or prevent users from accessing their apps, RackWare said.

RMM for AWS offers “true hybrid scaling,” RackWare said, and enables users to leverage AWS as a seamless extension of their internal IT infrastructures.

“RackWare provides an intelligent management layer bridging internal IT and AWS, allowing enterprises to manage their hybrid environments as one,” RackWare CEO Sash Sunkara told MSPmentor.

Sunkara noted MSPs can use RackWare Management Module for AWS to help customers migrate enterprise workloads to AWS and protect their crucial apps in AWS.

The DR and migration solution also allows users to “move workloads from any source infrastructure, including physical, cloud and virtual, to AWS instances with push-button ease,” according to RackWare.

RackWare Management Module for AWS delivers “easy-to-manage, low cost DR”

RackWare noted RackWare Management Module for AWS offers “easy-to-manage, low cost DR with minimal disruption.”

RackWare Management Module for AWS users can incorporate failover for mission-critical workloads into any AWS geographical location and failback when the primary application is up again, RackWare said.

Sunkara pointed out RMM for AWS enables MSPs to protect their customers against various risks as well.

“The new solution will help enterprises leverage AWS as a seamless extension of their internal infrastructure to scale and protect their modern, as well as complex, enterprise applications with ease,” Sunkara said in a prepared statement.

RackWare Management Module for AWS will be available Nov. 24.
