Quosal iPad App Gains Visual Reporting, More Data Management
Quosal, which develops quoting and sales proposal software for VARs and MSPs, has upgraded its Order Porter Mobile solution for Apple’s iPad. The benefits: iPad users now have visual quoting capabilities, and managers and sales personnel can now break down company-wide data by sales offices, locations or individual company representatives.
Moreover, individual reps can look at their own sales figures and compare them to sales leaders in their office, region and/or entire company. Quosal originally released the Order Porter Mobile for the iPad in May 2011, and Apple began selling the solution through the Apple App Store the following month.
It was really a matter of time before Quosal brought visual reporting to the iPad. Visual reporting was one of the main enhancements made to Quosal 2012, which was released in September 2011. At the time the new software was only compatible with on-premise solutions. Now MSPs, VARs and IT providers can use the software from their iPads.
All users have to do is download the application from the Apple App Store and start using the newest edition. And if you’re using a free, 30-day trial of the Quosal iPad solution, you can get a fresh 30 days by downloading the new version.
Quosal in May 2011 received an investment from ConnectWise Capital. Since that time, Quosal has continued to enhance its on-premise and cloud services software; the cloud version runs on Windows Azure. And ConnectWise has been educating MSPs about the value of using quoting and proposal software with PSA (professional services automation) software.
Quosal, QuoteWerks and other channel-centric business software providers are expected to share strategy updates next week in Orlando, where multiple companies are hosting breakout conferences within the broader IT Nation gathering.
