Paragon Channel Sales Director Yudy Vinograd says this new channel program is built around protecting margins for MSPs.

Backup and disaster recovery provider (BDR) Paragon Software Group on Thursday put in motion a new channel partner program for its managed services providers (MSPs) partners.

Built from the ground up, the Paragon Pure Channel Program focuses its efforts on three main objectives: providing increasing revenues, expediting sales cycles, and delivering new enablement and demand generation services.

To meet help meet its goals, Paragon developed what it calls POP (Paragon Opportunity Protection), a deal registration process that guarantees a minimum of a 30 percent margin to MSPs.

“Paragon listened to what was most important to our partner community and then enhanced, optimized and has now delivered the fundamental elements that they can use,” Paragon Channel Sales Director Yudy Vinograd told MSPmentor.

The program also provides MSPs with technical expertise, training, custom software builds, a disk management and utilities portfolio, U.S.-based engineering and support, and customized licensing based on individual business models.

This new initiative is built around Paragon Protect & Restore (PPR), an image-based BDR solution for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), and mid-enterprise markets.

“Paragon’s difference is in our ability to execute on our promise of robust, solutions, a simplified and streamlined sales cycle, operational and transactional excellence and higher profitability for our partners,” Vinogard said.
