N-able Reaches Out to MSPAlliance Members
The MSPAlliance continues to build technology vendor relationships to help managed service providers evaluate software at discounted costs or no initial cost. The latest deal involves N-able, and it arrives a few weeks after the MSPAlliance and AdventNet announced a somewhat similar relationship.

A Sept. 15 blog post from N-able VP of Marketing Bryan O’Connor states:
N-able’s N-central Express is now available at no cost or obligation to those service providers and MSPs who are members of the MSPAlliance, the International Association of Managed Service Providers.
At the same time, N-able is bolstering its self-named N-able University. The online education system, hosted on Microsoft SharePoint, allows VARs to MSPs to develop custom sales and marketing materials. And N-able customers can leverage the university for various online training and education courses.
N-able CEO Gavin Garbutt gave me a quick overview of the university this morning during his press tour in New York. During our breakfast chat, he mentioned the new N-central Express relationship with MSPAlliance, and also described some forthcoming product enhancements that roughly 100 MSPs are currently beta testing.
Membership Has Its Privileges
Meanwhile, the number of special vendor offers and business management programs available to MSPAlliance members continues to grow.
In addition to the N-able offer, MSPAlliance members can receive a 20 percent discount on AdventNet‘s ManageEngine MSP Center Plus starter pack (making the annual subscription price $2,000 for 100 devices). The MSPAlliance and AdventNet announced that special offer a few weeks ago.
Testing different types of software has become increasingly important to MSPs, many of whom have tried multiple managed services offerings in recent years, according to a Channel Insider reader survey.
MSPAlliance has also introduced special leasing and health care programs designed for members in recent months.
