Microsoft (MSFT) has built an online site within its Partner Network specifically to support channel partners selling to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The dedicated area is called US SMB Partner Center and is intended to house a variety of tools and resources for SMB channel partners all under one roof.

Content is organized into five main areas—Cloud, Offers and incentives, Training and Events, Find customers and SMB Champions Club.
- Cloud 1-2-3: Tips for cloud beginners or experts to build a Microsoft cloud practice and increase cloud-related sales. The section is segmented into three areas—Get in the cloud, Grow your cloud practice and Expand your cloud sales—and features guidance on becoming a Microsoft Cloud Partner, working with a cloud distributor, partner learning paths and certifications and deep dives on Microsoft’s cloud products and services.
- Offers and incentives: A listing of offers to help partners close deals and associated rewards. For example, Microsoft is offering a $175 rebate on licenses purchased for Dynamics CRM Online Professional for customers purchasing between 25 and 750 licenses through Dec. 31. And, VARs can earn rebates on eligible transactions of Microsoft on-premises software licenses and Office 365 Open.
- Training and events: Training and events tailored specifically to help partners serving SMB customers build skills and capabilities, including training updates, materials from Microsoft’s US SMB Regional team on the latest business trends and webcast schedules.
- Find customers: Business development tools such as digital marketing kits and accessible prospect lists to uncover SMB leads, including social media management, web syndication, search engine optimization (SEO) and third-party contact lists.
- SMB Champions Club: The Club provides resources to Partner Network members most focused on building their business with Microsoft. This section offers information on requirements and benefits including eligibility guidelines and enrollment dates.
