I have a hunch the touchscreen all-in-one desktop will see a surge in popularity when Windows 8 comes out and I have a hunch Lenovo sees that, too. That could by why Lenovo has launched the C325, designed to be a super-affordable all-in-one unit, with a touch screen. Here are the touchy details …

Lenovo is aiming the C325 at the consumer market with a $699 price tag, but there’s no reason the small-business space can’t adopt it for its own as well. The 20-inch LED display comes with a multitouch screen and an HDMI connection for setting up dual-displays or attaching to bigger ones. The standard gamut of features is also there, including a webcam, built-in speakers, DVD player and USB 3.0. Plus, it’s all powered by AMD CPUs.

Lenovo also has introduced some interesting technology to help make computing easier on the eyes. The Lenovo Eye-Distance System comes coupled with the Dynamic Brightness System, and together they automatically can tell if a user’s face is too close to the screen and adjust the monitor’s brightness based on ambient light conditions. Nifty.
