Jenne, Logitech Take Bundled Approach to UC Accessories

Understanding the success of a unified communications (UC) implementation has as much to do with the right accessories as it does the underlying infrastructure, UC-centric VAD Jenne Inc. and Logitech are teaming up to provide what the companies are calling a “holistic and bundled” approach to unified communications. Read on for for the details …

If you’re a VAR or UC partner and you’ve been befuddled by the wide range of UC accessories for desktop computers, fear not. Jenne has got your back with prepackaged Logitech UC accessory bundles. Everything from headsets to speakers to webcams now can be had with relative ease. Just pick the package that suits your UC deployment, and Logitech will ensure all the accessories are compatible and interoperable with the appropriate UC infrastructure.

But why one single brand, and why Logitech? According to Jenne, it wants to deliver a single branded solution to help mitigate the struggle of IT admins who “routinely face compatibility, quality and maintenance challenges” that accompany mismatched and low-quality UC accessories. The distributor believes that by fixing this problem alone, IT admins (and presumably VARs or service providers) now can more quickly solve minor issues, refocusing energy on issues that require full attention.

Logitech bundles are available now to all Jenne partners. Be sure to check out Jenne’s other recent UC moves, including its new ADTRAN and Bluesocket relationship and a refreshed partner portal.
