DocuSign: Sign SalesForce Real-Time Quotes Instantly
DocuSign, one of the most visible companies in the online document signing market, has brought their solution to SalesForce.com Real-Time Quotes, enabling users to close deals in the cloud quickly and with no messy paper. Interested?
Salesforce already supports delivering quotes to clients directly from their CRM dashboard, but previously the sales cycle was contingent on signatures being passed back and forth over snail mail or fax.
Now, a quote can be signed as soon as its delivered, closing the sales cycle quickly and efficiently. Moreover, the data collected during signing is updated throughout Salesforce, saving users from having to rekey information, according to DocuSign’s press release.
The electronic quote signing comes along with a general upgrade to DocuSign’s Salesforce products in the form of a 2.5 release that allows users to send any document away for signature through the platform, among other improvements.
Both products are available for free through the salesforce.com AppExchange.

Good to know about their quoting. From what I can tell this is only available in the $125/month version, right?
Almost fourteen months ago, my lovely bride delivered our son into the world. He’s got my curiosity and tenacity, which means he gets into everything and does it all the time. He’s also got my wife’s palette, which means if he doesn’t like it, he’s not going to eat it.
When my son was sick, it was all we could do to get some medicine into him. We knew that the amoxicillin the doctor prescribed was going to cure his ear infection. It didn’t matter to him though. He fought it the twice-a-day the prescription called for.
It reminded me of the argument about visual effects studios and the business model they work under.
