Axcient, Chartec Partner to Combine MSP Sales Training with Cloud-based RaaS
Axcient and CharTec are partnering to pair sales and marketing training with cloud-based recovery as a service for MSPs.
Both companies announced the relationship on Tuesday and said in a prepared statement they believe the partnership will enhance product offerings for both by providing training oppportunities for Axcient customers and delivering a cloud-based backup, business continuity and disaster recovery offering for the SMBs CharTec serves.
“This is not just a sales or technology partnership, this is a knowledge transfer and enablement alliance in which MSPs can gain the best in sales and marketing education while being able to leverage the Axcient recovery as a service offering for their clients,” said Justin Moore, CEO of Axcient. “It is a cost-effective way for IT services providers to get in the cloud and backup and recovery business.”
This is the first time Axcient and CharTec are partnering in any type of capacity, and it probably won’t be the last time. Moore told MSPmentor in an interview that Axcient’s channel model revolves around a few key focal areas — and partner training and enablement is one of them.
“When we started talking to CharTec about our recovery-as-a-service cloud platform and learned more about their approach to MSP education and training, we realized that by leveraging our core strengths and working together we could provide MSPs with the best in cloud-based backup, business continuity and disaster recovery with the best training and enablement to help them grow their MSP practice faster than ever.”
Details on the partnership are limited, but a bundle of CharTec services with Axcient’s RaaS offering will be announced shortly, Moore said.
“Chartec choosing Axcient is yet another proof point that Axcient has built the best technology in the recovery as a service space,” he said. “As the only provider to have built a platform for cloud-based backup, business continuity and disaster recovery from the ground-up, Axcient is uniquely positioned to execute on these types of strategic partnerships.”
